At Badgelink, we believe in backing young Australians with big dreams.
The Future Stars Grant exists to support determined kids who train hard, dream big, and are chasing excellence — whether it’s on the track, on the stage, or another passion.
That’s why we’ve launched the Future Stars Grant — a $2,000 boost for three young Australians (aged 12–18) who are chasing something big in sport, music, or their chosen field.
Whether you’re grinding it out at training, learning an instrument, or dedicating yourself to a bigger goal — we want to hear from you.
And we’re not stopping at three grants.
For every 2,000 Chalkboard Reusable Badges we sell, we’ll unlock another $2,000 grant to help someone else shine. 🌟
How to Enter
Step 1 – Record Your Video
In your video, please answer these questions:

What dream are you chasing?

What are you doing right now to chase it? (e.g. training, competing, learning, rehearsing)

What’s been the hardest part of your journey so far?

Do you need to travel for training, events, or competitions? (How far? How often?)

If you received this grant, how would you use the $2,000? Be as specific as you can.

Have you had to go without anything or make sacrifices to keep going?

(Optional) Is there someone who supports you — like a coach, parent, or teacher? What do they help you with?

(Optional) Do you share your journey online? If so, feel free to mention your YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok (and include links in the form).
How to submit your video: -

Record your video (up to 3 minutes long).

Upload it to YouTube. Set the video to Unlisted (so only people with the link can see it). If you don't want to use YouTube, you can create a Dropbox link or upload it directly to our page.

Copy the link and paste it into the application form below. Make sure you have permission from a parent or guardian if you're under 18.

You don’t have to answer everything perfectly — just be yourself. Whether you're loud and full of energy or quiet and focused, we want to see the real you. This isn’t a test or a popularity contest — we value honesty, effort, and heart.

Badgelink is run by two passionate parents with kids just like you. We genuinely want to help young dreamers like you get closer to their goals.

We understand that not everyone wants to be in the spotlight — and that’s totally okay.

If you or your parents prefer to keep things more private, there’s a checkbox on the form where you can let us know.

If selected, we can announce you using just your first name.

We’ll still celebrate and support you — no less than anyone else.
This grant is about helping young people chase big dreams — not about who’s the loudest online. Quiet achievers are just as welcome here.

Grant Application Rounds
We're awarding three $2,000 grants over three months, so you’ve got more than one chance to be selected. If you’re not chosen in the first round, your application will automatically be considered in the next — no need to reapply.

Future Stars Grant – Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility

Applicants must be aged 12 to 18 years old
-
Must reside in Australia
-
Must be actively pursuing a goal in sport, music, or another high-performance field
-
Applications must be submitted with parental/guardian consent if under 18
2. Application Requirements

Submit a short video (3 minutes max) or a written story

Must answer:

What is your dream?

What are you doing to pursue it?
-
How would the $2,000 grant help you?

All entries must be submitted via the official application form on the Badgelink website
3. Selection Process

Up to 3 winners will be selected in this round
-
Winners will be chosen based on passion, commitment, and potential impact

Judges' decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into
4. Use of Funds
-
Grants are provided as financial support for training, equipment, lessons, travel, or other expenses aligned with the applicant's dream

Funds will be transferred directly to the parent/guardian or guardian-approved account
5. Publicity & Updates
-
We love sharing our Future Stars’ stories! While not required, recipients are invited to share updates, photos, or videos of their journey

Updates may be shared on our website, social media, or promotional material — with permission from the applicant and their parent/guardian
6. Ongoing Grant Program

Future grants will be funded by $1 from every Chalkboard Reusable Badge sold
7. Other Notes

This grant is not a prize or competition

There is no cost to apply
-
This is not considered income or taxable unless the recipient is operating a business (not typical for under 18s)
