As you can see from our website, we create name badges.

We manufacture our products in our office in Moruya.   We have 2 systems and the older of our two systems requires cutting up using a guillotine and round cornering as well as cutting out sticker material accurately using a stanley knife.  This requires a good eye.

 

You will need to be able to read paperwork and sort and prioritise your work.  

​

Your role will also includes taking care of all our packaging and dispatch.  This includes putting the fitting on the badge, packaging them and getting ready for dispatch.   You will be reading paperwork and work independently or at times with help.  You are the last point of contact before dispatch so your attention to details must be excellent to ensure orders get to the right client.   

​

You will also be entering details into our courier software for individual packages so some computer knowledge would be excellent and if you have used XERO in the past, or have an understanding of it, this would be favourable. 

​

This position also requires using digital printers and laser cutting. 

​

All training will be provided.    

​

You will mostly work independently, but at times within the team should you need to.  We are a small business that requires you to take on any role and be flexible within reason.    

​

We typically make between 150 to 300 badges per day and dispatch 30 to 50 orders.  This increases from February to April where this will double. 

​

We require your attention to detail to be excellent.  We have a strong quality control system in place and require you to understand the importance of sending quality products to our clients and expect you to be able to pick up on errors or imperfections in the products. 

​

Badgelink have been creating badges for about 15 years and this is because we care about every badge, every package and every client.  We don’t cut corners and we don’t buy cheap materials to save money.  We have built a reputation of quality products, great customer service and speedy delivery.   This means we have 1000’s of clients across the country that order regularly with most of them since our inception 15 years ago.

We are looking for someone that can understand our business and can continue to work with the same ethics to continue to build our business. 

 

We currently have 3 full time staff and 2 casuals.  We are looking for a further full time staff member.  You will work closely with our production manager who oversees everything and runs our secondary part of the manufacturing business.  You will also work in conjunction with our admin and sales staff to ensure orders get out smoothly and timely.

The hours will be full time, so 38 per week and salary can be discussed based on your skill level and ability to take on the roll.
